moment of truth

I haven't run since last Tuesday (see previous post). I have been working out, stretching, etc. but it is amazing how tight and tired my muscles are, given this extended break from running. I still feel some pain in my lower leg going up and down stairs. TOnight, I'm going to go for a walk on the treadmill and perhaps try to jog just to see how things feel.

Keep your head up honey! Know that I am so proud of you for already accomplishing a FULL marathon training program, such that your journey is already essentially complete. Regardless of how your moment of truth turns out, you've accomplished a ton!

You have accomplished so much with your training program. I hope you feel confident and proud of your success. I know you could/would run that marathon if you weren't in tremendous pain. It is all about the journey...

The hard part is over. Now all you have to do is enjoy the glory! OK and run 26.2 miles this weekend. Goood luck with your injuries, and the race. Send pics.
